Easy Homemade Rose Scented Bubble Bath Recipe
A rose scented bubble bath that feeds and softens the skin. Shake it well and add a teaspoonful to your bath while the water is running, then lie back and relax. Rose Scented Bubble Bath 1 to 2 tablespoons dried rose petals 1 quart boiling water 1 cup pure soap flakes 1 1/2 ounces glycerin 2 teaspoons almond oil 1 teaspoon wheat germ oil 1 teaspoon geranium essential oil 2 tablespoon witch hazel lotion You will need a large heatproof ceramic or glass bowl, a fine sieve, a non-reactive saucepan, a stainless steel spoon, and 1 or more clean, airtight plastic bottles. Place the petals in the bowl and pour the boiling water over them. Cover and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Then strain into the saucepan. Heat the water over medium heat, add the soap and stir until it dissolves. Place the glycerin, almond and wheat germ oils, the geranium essential oil, and witch hazel lotion in the bowl. Mix well, then add the soap mixture and stir well. Pour into small bottles. Keep one in the bathroom and store the others in a cool, dark place until needed. Makes 32 ounces.
