Bergamot Oil is one of the most widely used in the perfumery and toiletry industry and forms, together with neroli and lavender, the main ingredient for the classical Eau-de-cologne fragrance. It is used to flavor Earl Grey tea. Frankincense Oil slows and deepens the breath, and is used to support meditation, spiritual quest and prayer in many different cultures, from Catholic/Orthodox Christianity to India, China etc. It has forever been associated with divinity, and allegedly was one of the presents given to the newborn Christ. However, it is mentioned a total of 22 times in the bible. Frankincense Oil is harvested by incising the tree trunks, much like when harvesting maple syrup or natural gum. The excreted resin hardens, and forms so called “tears”. Cedar Wood Oil is centering, supportive, strengthening. The essence has an oily, balsamic aroma reminiscent of freshly split green wood. It adds body and a warm quality to fragrances. It is also used to scent room sprays, disinfectants, insect repellents and soaps. Perfect for using in your own homemade peace cologne.
