Easy Five Spice Powder 1 Tbsp. black pepper 1 Tbsp. ground anise 1 Tbsp. ground fennel seed 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon 1 tsp. ground cloves Mix and store in an airtight jar Gourmet Five Spice Powder 2 tablespoons ground star anise 2 tablespoons ground fennel seeds 2 teaspoons crushed cassia 2 teaspoons crushed Szechwan peppercorns 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves Mix and store in an airtight jar Chinese Five Spice Marinade If you want to add Chinese flavors to anything you're grilling, then this is a great marinade. Make this marinade a day in advance to get the most out of the flavors.
